The Skeleton Coast of Namibia lays on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean in south western Africa.
The cold current next to the coast produces dense ocean fogs for most of the time. The coast Skeleton Coast is called that way for two reasons, the first is that there were many beached whale and seal bones on the shore (at the time that the whaling industry was still active), and the second reason is of the skeletal remains of a ships due to the offshore rocks & the dense fog.
