Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, China

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is China‘s first national forest park (as of 1982) and it is a home to the famous rock pillars who inspired the Designers of the movie “Avatar”, one of the stone pillars was even renamed after the floating mountains in the movie and is now known as “Avatar Hallelujah Mountain”  the pillar is very impressive and is taller than one kilometer! Zhangjiajie National Forest Park has many stone pillars and they even were portrayed in old traditional Chinese paintings.
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is also the home for the biggest and tallest outdoor elevator.
