Peggys Cove is a small picturesque community located just a 45 minutes drive south from Halifax (Nova Scotia, Canada). Despite the fact that Peggys Cove preserves a simple small-fishing-town like appearance, it is above all a tourist attraction, fishing is no longer the main occupation of people living along the Cove. The development of most Real estate around the cove is banned (or heavily restricted) so the cove could stay as visually attractive as it is nowadays. The Cove offers great angels to photographers.
Things to Do: There are some good Restaurants around, there is the Lighthouse (constructed in 1868) which is a great spot to watch the sunset and Boat tours which also take you to superb fishing areas (just make sure it’s not a windy day or the boat ride would be remembered mainly for being seasick).
