Mount Hood is a stratovolcano in the Cascade Volcanic Arc northern Oregon (USA). Mount Hood is the highest mountain in Oregon and a popular site for hikers. Mt. Hood is just about 80 kilometers from Portland and it is visible from the city on clear days.
