Lake Powell is the second largest man-made reservoir in the United States, situated just a few kilometers north to Page, in the north of Arizona, most of Lake Powell is in Utah, since it is located right on the border between the two states.
The “bathtub” white colored ring (above the reservoir) is revealed after water levels drop, since the water has iron in it, the red sandstone turns white. Canyon boat-tours with a private sport-boat are offered and also same tours with a larger passenger boat, the water are still and can create great reflections, (depending on the lightning and hour of the day).
