Fallingwater is a house built over a waterfall, tucked in a picturesque, deep green forest setting. The man who commissioned the design of Fallingwater was Edgar Kaufmann (The house is also known as”The Kaufmann Residence“). This house is no less than an architectural breakthrough and today it is considered as an historical landmark. It was designed by the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. This amazing house is located just an hour and a half drive southeast of Pittsburgh, (Pennsylvania, USA ). The house was completed in late 1937.
- It’s an easy walk so it’s also great to go with kids.
- The tour that goes inside the house is about 30$, although the guides are great, if you are not Really into architecture you can just walk around the house and enjoy the picturesque setting (It is also possible to look into the house through the windows).
