Mauritius is an island of remarkable beauty, It is known for it’s breathtaking beaches shining with the waters of the Indian Ocean. But this tiny island located just east of Madagascar and mainland Africa, has even more to offer. The Chamarel Waterfall is located close to Chamarel village in the south-western part of the island. The waterfall is slim with a great drop into the canyon down below. Entry to the park (Black River National Park) is around 6$ (USD) and is within close range to another attraction named ” the coloured sands” (includes both entries).
Tip: the waterfall can only be viewd form a far but since it is really easy to access. it is well worth the visit.
