Cenote Dzitnup, Mexico

Dzitnup Cenote is one of about 7,000 Cenotes in the Yucatán Peninsula (Mexico). Dzitnup Cenote is a Cenote (fresh water ponds, usually underground). Dzitnup Cenote is located near Valladolid in the southeastern part of the Mexican state of Yucatán.  It has big tree roots hanging down through a hole in the ground (or ceiling.. depends how you look at it). Dzitnup, almost right across from the more famous Cenote – Samula. It is a beautiful place truly amazing and it is easy to sea the the fish in the clear blue water, it is possible to swim in, and the inside light is very dramatic.
