The Broadway Tower is located near the village of Broadway, in the English county of Worcestershire, England. Although The Broadway Tower looks like a medieval castle it was constructed during the late 18th century (1798) primarily for decoration and was sponsored by a very wealthy woman named Lady Coventry. The Broadway Tower is about 20 meters high and used in the past as a countryside retreat for artists who rented the castle. These days the tower is a major tourist attraction that holds different exhibitions from time to time and is open to the public – definitely worth the visit for modest entrance fee (The car parking fee is subtracted from any purchases at the gift shop or if you choose to climb up the Broadway Tower itself).
