Boracay, Philippines

Boracay is a small island of the Philippines located south of Manila. How small is Boracay? well it  is tiny: no more than 7 kilometers long (north to south) and 1 kilometer wide for most of the island .
Boracay is very famous for it’s white sand beautiful beaches, as a whole the beaches of the Philippines have built themselves quite a reputation as being some of the most amazing beaches in the world. In 2012, Boracay was dubbed as “the best island in the world” by the travel magazine Travel + Leisure {a famous international travel magazine based in NYC}. One of Boracay’s most photogenic resorts is a gorgeous and romantic resort named the “Nami Resort” it is located within a short walking distance of White Beach. “White Beach” is the main beach and a bit crowded and noisy (but fun!) so it is better to stay in a Resort like “Nami Resort” which is a just a bit farther away – if you want to be close to white beach and still have a quiet holiday. Boracay’s Most Recognizable Landmark is a tidal island named Willy’s Rock located right next to White Beach.
